The Challenge

Our task was to design and implement the grand culinary finale of what is probably Switzerland’s most renowned cooking event. The Epicure festival takes place over several days at The Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich with a selection of top international chefs. At the Epicure finale, the event culminates with the chance to watch the nine culinary masters, a pâtissier and a bartender at eleven live cooking stations.

Our Approach

A total of eleven individually designed live cooking stations were equipped with professional equipment across two floors of the gallery. Highly renowned sommeliers and wine producers offered the perfect pairing for the menu, accompanied by selected musicians. Partners, as well as the top chefs themselves, were given the opportunity to present themselves and their services. After the dinner, the guests could let the evening linger on with cigars and whiskey in the ‘Chapiteau’ tent, which was specially erected outside for this occasion. Our experienced project managers ensured that the entire event ran smoothly. In cooperation with the client, the 6th edition of the Epicure final was devised and celebrated as another success.
